Home Our Products About Bouncing Out Of Control F.A.Q. Order Now Contact
Q: How far in advance should I reserve my spacewalks?
A: That would depend on the time of year and what you would like to rent. Many of our rentals are booked well in advance of the usual holidays. The best way to insure that you will be able to get what you want is to book as soon as you have decided on the date for.

Q: Are spacewalks safe?
A: Bounce houses are as safe as playing in your own house, maybe safer. We want your event to be as safe as possible, so we will walk you trough the safety features prior to final setup. Please review our safety rules and instructions.

Q: Are spacewalks clean?
A: Yes, we clean each bounce house after each rental whenever possible. However, due to time restrictions, it may be necessary to clean the inflatable at your location when it is delivered.

Q: Are there any cleaning fees?
A: We expect to receive our inflatables back in a fairly clean manner. We realize that children in and out of it all day can allow grass to enter by means of their socks. We will not charge for cleaning this. However, since you will receive a list , drink stains or not following any other listed rule of this nature will result in a minimum $50.00 cleaning fee at the time of pickup. The inflatable will be inspected before its packed up at your location.

Q: Can you set the inflatable up on cement?
A: Yes, the inflatables will be secured with either sand bags or cement holders rather than stakes, and a tarp or rubber mat will be placed underneath to protect the unit. However, it is HGHLY recommended that the inflatable be set up on grass whenever possible. IT is possible that someone could slip getting into or out of the inflatable and hit the ground.

Q: Do I need an attendant?
A: There should ALWAYS be someone supervising the inflatable. The most important duties of an attendant are limiting the number of children in or on the inflatable at one time, making sure that the children are all of similar size and controlling the behavior of all participants. At the present time, we do not offer an attendant.

Q: Does a spacewalk have to be delivered?
A: We believe that inflatable fun should be available to anyone who wants it. We currently deliver and setup all inflatables.

Q: What should I do if I have a problem?
A: Bouncing Out of Control will provide you with a phone number to reach them in the event of a problem.

Q: What happens if I lose power?
A: All inflatables designed for commercial or rental use require a fun or blower that runs continuously. Should the blowers provided to you stop working, immediately notify Bouncing Out of Control. In most cases, you may have to check our circuit breaker to see that it has not been tripped.

Q: Do you require deposit?
A: No deposit is required.

Q: Does Bouncing Out of Control have a business license?
A: Yes! We are licensed, registered, insured and inspected in the State of Louisiana.

Q: If I need to cancel will I still be charged?
A: Out of courtesy we ask that you give us as much notice as possible. If you cancel after we have already setup the equipment, there will only be a $100.00 setup fee.

Q: Where are the rules when using a spacewalk or inflatable?
A: Generally speaking, no food or drink, no shoes, no sharp objects, no visible metal zippers, no medical conditions including pregnancy, no wresting/roughhousing, no hanging on the netting, no flips, NO SILLY STRING and NO Sand. Please refer to our SAFETY PAGE for list of rules.

Q: What do we do if the inflatable is up and it begins rain?
A: Unplug the blower and move it out of the rain while you let spacewalk deflate. Once the rain stops plug the blower back in and wipe down any wet surfaces to avoid slipping. The vinyl gets very slippery when wet.

Q: What if it looks it is going to rain on the day of our event?
A: You can cancel prior to the time stated, due to weather. Call the day before and let us know that you are canceling your rental. If the forecast is for scattered showers, we recommend that you still take the inflatable and let the party go on. If it rains, unplug it, move the blower out of the rain, cover the Space Walk with the tarp provided and when it stops raining, plug it back in and dry off any wet surfaces. The children just want to jump, they do not care if it has just rained.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept for rental items?
A: Currently, we accept cash only upon delivery.

Q: What time will the rental equipment arrive at my location?
A: Normally delivery is 9-11 a.m., but if you desire a different time for delivery please let us know.

Q: What time will the rental equipment be picked up?
A: The pickup of rental equipment is 6-7p.m. just before the dark. However if severe weather is expected in the evening we may call you about early pickup.

Q: Why do I have to rent for the entire day rather than the 3-4 hours I think I will need it?
A: Sometimes things happen, such as the party started later or guest showed up late and/or they did not get to use the bounce house of inflatable after a full day and it is not being used to the last minute. Renting a bounce house or inflatable should be the least of your worries during the day of your event. Having it show up late, setup or taken down while your guests are there can be stressful and inconvenient.

Q: Why do I have to use anchors or sandbags with inflatable?
A: While inflatables are heavy, they also present a large surface to the wind. If an inflatable is not anchored correctly the wind, depending on how strong it is, can actually pick it up and blow it away with or without children playing in or on it. Regardless of how well anchored inflatable is it should not be played on or in when the winds exceed twenty miles per hour.

Q: Can I use water hose on a space walk?
A: There are Space Walks designed for use with water and your Certified Inflatable Operator will be glad to explain them to you. Under no circumstances should water be used with any inflatable that is not designed for such use.
